I'd have to get an exact quote of Beck's statement to know if its outright false, or just distortive. I could probably find it pretty easily, but that still wouldn't tell me if its a lie or not, since he may believe it. I guess calling anything that's wrong "a lie" is one of my pet peeves, and of course its even worse if its not clearly wrong.
