this is a true reflection of a "do nothing foolish" type of president, who was self absorbed in his own hubris and imagined its own greatness in his own arrogant mind.

There is a saying in Romanian that I cannot express on SI and I realize how true it is, with regard of the states you mentioned (it goes back to the times of Romanian Ottoman wars).
