Hi slob:

I apologixe for my poor wording concerning TXN. My information
about TXN was mainly circumstantial, based on a conversation
with the director of an analog IC group at TXN, who was complaining
he had trouble recruiting analog designers and hanging on to those
he had.

Even though TXN may not operate that way, it is generally a
good strategy for companies whose stock has appreciated
to use it to buy companies, particularly when these companies
can be bought inexpensively.

As far as having MLIN living to its potential, this would
require a management shakeup. If MLIN was going to execute
real well from a business standpoint, we would have seen it
by now. MLIN's performance is really unfortunate, since the
analog sector is red hot right now, so opportunities for success
are not lacking.
