Goldielocks finds her legs on the bottom steps. She bounces up a step or two, then rests a bit while she catches her breath. A smile comes to her face as she adjusts her bonnet. She can see the light in the window at the top of the stairs a bit better now. A blue bird chirps on a high branch, silhouetted against a bright white fluffy cloud. Hope rises in her heart that it will be a good day and the three bears won't be back again to the little golden cottage in the green forest.
