I think you are right about PMCS.... they had a 20 point
gap last thrusday, that they needed to fill and in fact they
have filled it.

I could belive we might see one more little price leg down
to 164 or even 156, if we see nasd weakness.

I saw a very bullish AMD presentation last night.

They are pumped up and They really seem to be turning
into formidable competition for INTC.

I asked a coupld AMD guys about their flash memory business
and they said they would be excess demand for the next 2
to 3 years as far as they could tell.

they said it's a real cash cow. SSTI is still good to
go on any weakness imo or maybe on a break out.

Have you heard about their Sledgehammer, code named chip
to be shipped next year. It sounds pretty impressive
I'll have to get the notes out of my car later.

the Devon chip that is ramping up sounds like it will
sell a lot.

Looking at the daily AMD chart they look closer to a
technical short looking for a retest of the 70 low of last
month, or maybe even a further decline to the mid 50's.

I wonder if the chip stocks are going to get hit by
this reveneue recognition issue with the SEC?
