Calvin - Unfortunately for Jim Kelley's record as a psychic, he got both the earnings projections and the reasons for CPQ performance wrong both in 4Q98 and in 1Q99. He has some interesting observations but his track record on predicting CPQ recently has been pretty bad. I can refer you to Jim's posts on the CPQ thread if you like. This is not to bash Jim - my own predictions about CPQ were about as bad. But he did not report "those same problems"...
