Bulls and bears are like optimists and pessimists. Both look at the exact same evidence and draw diametrically opposing conclusions. It's hard wired into them.

If you give a bear a pony, he worries about shoveling the stable. If you give a bull a room full of horse exhaust, he thinks there must be a pony buried in there somewhere.

Not saying don't talk about it, just saying don't expect to make any progress in convincing the other side.
