his mom or grandparents wouldn't call newspaper and put in notice that his mom had a kid if she adopted him later. also, the hospital called the paper - according to nbc. i called new york times and told them to put in notice of my mom's death. they took the info - including re me - and then next day i saw it was not published. i called the n y times - they checked with the funeral home - and they had no knowledge of her death. but, it was with westchester branch, not manhattan branch - and n y times is so parochial they didn't take a minute to check with me or westchester branch - as they were at their deadline.
