Maslow's Hierarchy and Religious Belief. Do you think the human pressures can best be addressed by looking at this as an economic question, or by refusing to do business where religions differ. Can a Jihad be good for business ? Is a Holy War in the Office the answer ? I know an employer who made a bad judgement in hiring two people. Well, it only turned out to be bad when belief became more important than work. A radical Lebanese man and an Egyptian working in a fireplace factory would seem like insanity to some. The Egyptian fellow bought a library book to work one day, it had a picture of Menachem Begin on the cover. During his coffee break he was reading it. After coffeee the radical Lebanese fellow came back and used his pocket knife to deface the book, ripping the picture of Menachem off of the dust cover. When the Egyptian fellow saw this, he was furious, a fistfight ensued and both were fired. My question is this. Is God more concerned about : A) The fact that neither family will receive a paycheck ? B) The fact that Menachem was spit upon. C) The soul of the radical Lebanese man ? D) The library fine ?
