Scrapps, Also they may want to sell as many of those upgradable modems as possible. If you were buying would you want a 56k or a 56 upgradable? They might be trying to see how many upgradables they can sell off the big marketing campain. Example: Oh you dont have any you say MR. retailer? So give me one of those upgradeables. Free you said? Does anybody else see how this resembles the Win95 Hype/Stall/Release program that was very very successful! They sold tons so fast the word about the problems did not have time to effect those initial massive sales numbers! What a marketing Genius that thought all that up! I dont believe it was accident.
