Nearly two-thirds said they think that Arafat cannot control extremist Palestinian groups responsible for the violence while 44 percent think that Sharon cannot control extremists on his side.

i agree 100%!! i don't think either side (especially israel aka the u.s.) should use the fact that it is impossible to control all the extremists as an excuse to not continue peace talks. maybe if palestine was given statehood, that would calm things down for awhile.
