Here's an interesting tidbit! Since 1969, the Utility Index has shown fourth quarter gains in 36 of those years.

With the market up on the year, I would think Institutional money would come into the utility sector during the fourth quarter to insure they keep most of those gains. So, I would look for utilities to finish up on the fourth quarter for the 37th year. We'll see.
