Take another look, it's the same exactly - canadian producers and US taxpayers getting screwed by an agribiz lobby that controls its own dark corner of the Washington snakepit to the extent that it can distort the market and score itself massive amounts of federal cash Only difference is that Harper wants to sound ready to stand up for farming and a free market, while he was eager to sell out forestry US subsidies and tariff walls on sugar and cotton are market distortions that cause huge damage to the third world, while they rip off US taxpayers and consumers ... and it's all pure corruption, as you are no doubt fully aware
