I believe Intertainer had a content plan in which they would not get the newest releases for X number of days. That way movie companies would be able to honor current contracts with Blockbuster. Blockbuster could then reduce inventory significantly by not having old tapes. Have lots of copies of the newest releases and sell them off when they get old. Thats interesting that they will allow VOD customers to tape the movie. I noticed that Quest is airing their 'every movie ever made' ad's again. I am also getting their dinner calls for long distance service.
