I'd like to know how different people managed to get shares to short. Waterhouse wouldn't even try to help me get some, and I tried from open to close. They told me first that GERN was on a list they get each morning of stocks not available for shorting. They said they don't make a market in any stocks themselves.

I'd appreciate knowing who does make a market in GERN, or from whom you were able to short.

Then I'll gladly get away from Waterhouse who screws me on every transaction.
