No, but it is a way to write, and besides, urbanization is gathering speed, so trend is friendly.

I agree, however the trend is for smaller government at all levels, and corruption, at first hand, is a manageable problem, so far.
I have done work in Taiwan and Philippines, have heard first hand stories about Thailand and Indonesia, have seen second-hand reports about the Nasdaq, and so far I see nothing extraordinary in China corruption. The corruptors are getting reported, are getting shot, and those who are not, are careful, and therefore not terribly bold, when compared to any number of other countries and companies. The corruption issue in China is not what Collapse is made of, so far, and the trend is, again, positive.
