You know, it is not unexpected when people drop into the thread with strong emotion and resentment.

I know when I drop into a little neighborhood bar in say, oh, some college town , "You know, I've never seen such a bunch of stupid looking, in-bred hicks posing as college students as I see in this place" that while anyone already in the bar could probably say it and get a laugh, that maybe if it's the first thing I say when I walk in the door, I get my butt kicked.

Attitude is everything. I kid you now about your degeneracy, but it would be rude to do that my first day in school, huh? Rudeness bothers me - gentle ribbing is funny and builds bonds. I wasn't mean about Greg's hunting - I poked a little fun at him with the wrestling analogy, but I didn't want to do any harm to him. I think if I was an American Indian and I didn't like hunting, I'd go work for the Medicine Man. Every tribe needs one of those. Or I'd make arrows and spears. I'm good at that kind of stuff too. I don't mind if others want to hunt... just won't do it myself. I might point out some of the issues with it once in a while just to respect the Spirit of Brother Elk.

Some people think that there are no rules on the internet. Well that's kinda true, but that doesn't mean there are no consequences. That is the nature of the Universe. Filled with consequence. God likes it that way.
