Subscription ends soon. Chance of me subscribing again absolutely zero. The guy is a joke. You learn more about technology trends by spending a couple of hours a week at any bar or health club in Silicon Valley. His good recs have mostly just echoed other analysts. His bad ones are dumbfounding. And the fact that he can't even keep track of the news (or in some cases, the names of the companies he "follows") is astounding. The fact that he still promotes himself (including his new magazine) using the old Hulbert rating from the 80s pretty much says it all. Used to like him. But his method could only work in a very special set of circumstances which no longer exist in the industries he covers. And he's frankly gotten lazy. mg
