I've been thinking about CMGI's tendency to rise at the open and swoon at the close. I think it may be related to the day-traders getting their positions opened at the opening and cashing out before the close.

I'm convinced that this is the case. One of the reasons I keep bringing it up publicly is to see if we can negate this effect by shining a little light on that fact and bring some market efficiency to the issue. As Badon518 points out, it may be starting to even out a bit. But I wouldn't say it's something to disregard...
