Modern Code I will concede will probably do well on a P-IV (as it will on an Athlon).. but then you get into the situation of the code taking time to get re-written.. I have seen several articles saying that P-IV optimizations will not happen over night. Therefore.. the tech sites testing will have to stick with what they have to go on now.. for awhile.. and draw t heir own conclusions from that.
