Doug,

1 day auctions are a great idea, but I bet they won't do it because the auction count is being so closely watched.

Your feelings about 14 day auctions seem to be shared by most of the others using EBAY. It appears that only about 10% of the new auctions are 14 day auctions. However, a much larger percentage of the december auctions are 14 days, probably due to the holidays as you point out.
