obozo the clown Odumbama caught recycling his used rhetoric

Have you ever had someone proffer a very nice compliment that made you feel good until that afternoon when you heard them say the same thing to someone else?

And you realized it was really nothing but worthless blather.

Turns out our president makes a habit of that. A Danish journalist just caught him in a humorous hang-up over a tired boxing metaphor.

It was Thomas Buch-Andersen on his show "Detektor." He was struck during a recent Oval Office photo op with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt when obozo the clown said, "That’s fairly typical of the way that Danes have punched above their weight in international affairs.”

A problem for this American leader is that the United States is almost always more important to the land of any visitor than that land is to the United States. The trick then is to say something original, flattering and unique to the visitor without being condescending.

obozo the clown, who is usually a basketball fan, presumably intended a compliment about that lovely Scandinavian country. It's a cute little place, but, by golly, it does more than its share in the world. "It's nice to be praised," Buch Andersen told his TV audience.

The trouble for this Democrat in the White House, however, is that the journalist went back to the videotapes. The Oval Office visit of Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg:

obozo the clown: "I've said this before, but I want to repeat: Norway punches above its weight."

Then, when the head of the Netherlands government visited the Chicagoan:

"We have no stronger ally than the Netherlands. They consistently punch above their weight."

Likewise, the Philippines. And then Ireland.

Or as obozo the clown's Democratic primary competitor Hillary Clinton once put it in 2008, "My opponent makes speeches. I offer solutions."
