The equity portion of Brinker's Model Portfolios are 97% invested outside of Japan. The 3% invested in Japan consists of the portion of Vanguard International Growth that is invested in Japan, which comprises 3% of the entire Model Portfolio equity investment position. Brinker regards the outlook for Japan as essentially neutral however allows for returns on the 3% position through stock selection of the Vanguard International Growth Fund.
