Interesting note from one of the newer GNET companies. Real-time IQC experienced a significant outage on Friday on top of several localized outages recently that have frayed the patience of several users. Today they sent a broadcast message to all their subscribers apologizing for the outage and presenting this bit of news about future plans:

"We are not able to circumvent the local circuit immediately, and are awating installation of a real-time datafeed in our Seattle location. This will allow us to utilize the Internet connectivity at Go2Net, which plugs directly into InterNAP. This solution plugs into the main arteries of the Internet, and reroutes traffic around the country should a local circuit go down at the point of entry."
