BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- NetSpeak Corporation
(NASDAQ:NSPK) and Siemens Telecom Networks, (formerly Siemens Stromberg-
Carlson) have signed an agreement which expands their existing OEM
relationship. The new agreement will provide for Siemens to market all of
NetSpeak's carrier-grade products and service solutions for Voice over
Internet Protocol (VOIP) applications and provides for Siemens to include
NetSpeak's technology and applications on the Siemens gateway platform.
This expanded agreement allows the Siemens Internet Solutions Business
Unit to offer NetSpeak's pre-packaged hardware and software solutions and
applications, including NetSpeak's newly announced high density 96/120 port
Internet telephony gateway. The two companies plan to work together to
introduce applications to be used by carriers, telecom service providers,
cable network operators and Internet service providers (ISPs), to supply VOIP
services, including Internet telephony.
