I am in awe everytime I read something from the Federalist Papers. Their words were so commanding and so astute, and yet at the time, they had very little precedent to guide them. And the ultimate irony is that they had no idea what they were spawning.

And yes, I remember now why they did the Senate (in terms of representation) the way they did and why its considered the more important of the two branches.
