briand," talk to MCI". Why should I? So far the word is: defective new LU upgrade. Are you telling me that MCI did not install it properly? OK, shouldn't LU have taken over such a delicate <i/> job ( considering the nationwide fiasco of last week and considering that LU's reputation was in it )? Why didn't LU fix if? Why should I have to call MCI? Isn't it up to MCI &co to call me, their customer and tell me why my freakin' business is going to pot with their lousy system? Instead all I get is some mumbo jumbo telling me, " we are sorry ".Well buddy that ain't enough.I've lost business here. I' ll tell you what briand, ( just in the remote case you work for LU or WCOM): I am not calling anybody.I don't HAVE to call anybody.I don't have time to waste. You do the calling. Meanwhile tell your boss to come and pick his( hers ) freakin' switch out of here tomorrow. I am calling AT&T ( ot QWST or, whatever ). See briand? This is what real customers do in the real world. I am afraid the new kid in the block is out to find out the hard way,

Tunica, the software is new. the engineer that wrote the code was there. bigger is definitely NOT what the carriers want. Who wants to deal with the size requirements of an overpriced, feature poor box that in many cases can't be given away in head to head competition with LU, csco, et al...if anything, to fit full carrier class capabilities with a far richer featureset in a box the size of the cscc box is amazing. (maybe you would also like to drive a 1972 caddy over a new lexus gs400..)
The engineers at CSCC were on the issue. maybe you should talk with the mci people on the job to find out what really happened.
btw, there are numerous NN people that have and are joining this group. Can you imagine how much the stock options are worth for those people that left the NN barge within the last 2 years. |
