I agree with the "wait until 2000" scenario to get back in to the market. I think there will be one correction beginning in the last quarter of 1998 and then the market will rise again, then sometime in 1999 there will be several corrections, culminating in the biggest one in the late fall of 1999. It will be awfully hard to play this so you don't lose your shirt.

My strategy is to get out of the market except for perhaps one or two long plays, and be happy with a guaranteed 5% interest on investment certificates.
