"Eight more years of sleaze and corruption?"
I think my name must have been sold recently, as I am getting an increase in phone calls and letters soliciting donations from conservatives and conservative groups, and they all hit the same note, "stop Hillary, ACLU, Howard Dean, Jane Fonda," just scare tactics pandering to the lowest common denominators, fear and rage.
Doesn't work for me, I reject it.
Just opened up a beg letter from George Allan and he's hitting the same notes, "Emily's List, Jane Fonda, Howard Dean, Clinton political machine." Etc. I am going to just throw it into the recycle bin, send him money through another channel, as this letter is very disappointing.
I believe that the fund raisers get a cut, too, so sending money directly gets more to your candidate anyway. |
