We had disagreed on the other guy's handling earlier (the shot electrician). The more details I read about the case, I'm coming around to the idea that maybe it should have been dealt with differently, and you're probably right in that regard. Once you (the police) have the suspicion that your suspect is wired to blow and you see him running into the subway, your options are not good. If you know anybody who is inventing a non-lethal weapon that can really knock someone out instantly, invest in it, because there will be a huge demand for it.
