Still, we can't get tests on demand, especially the rapid-response ones.

My daughter lives in Oakland and had a similar third party potential exposure a few weeks back. There was a clinic or some such place near her apartment that performed the rapid test. She waited only 15 minutes to get the results. She went back a couple of days later to verify as well. Again 15 minutes. Thankfully negative both times. Unfortunately I haven't heard of such a facility here in the South Bay. I did drive through at the Fairgrounds awhile back. Easy and fast. It did take two days to get the results though.
