If they had to, they could, and they would. It's would be nice to believe in a David and Goliath world, but the reality is that Intel is the low cost producer and has far more resources than AMD. If Intel had to they could out price, out market and out last AMD. But I don't think it will ever come to that.

I don't remember too many corporate Davids slaying corporate Goliaths lately.
