Tom : My good b/ball friend that beat cancer was asked what to do by another person that was given a 10 % chance of recovery. I said Steve, wnat did you tell them having gone through it yourself ?
He got this very stern look on his face; like what he was going to say was empassioned and said, " I told them 10 % was great , wonderful, great odds: take it and run home with it. I said , you're kidding ? He said , no I'm not . 10 % is ten times better than 1 % isn't it. I asked him, if your cancer came back would you do another marrow transplant ? He said, In a heartbeat, that's a no--brainer !!
This same man blew out his knee playing b/ball, was out a year with total reconstruction; on his first day back he split his kneecap in two was out another year, .. This year we are playing on two leagues together and practice on another night. He is doing great.... I love him with all my heart..he is surely an inspiration to me...In Christ.gregor ( oh, he's mid 40's )
