The casualties in Iraq break my heart. It also makes me angry since I predicted this would happen (we would have our own West Bank). If we had an open debate on Iraq prior to the invasion, (instead of having it shoved down our throats) I believe we would have avoided this mistake.

Now we need to move forward and figure out how to get out of Iraq and battle terrorism (unrelated to Iraq). What are our goals now in Iraq? Bush says we are there to bring “democracy” to Iraq. But I don’t believe anything Bush says anymore.

If this is really our goal, why don’t we turn the administration over to the World community (the UN)? If we do that, Spain will keep their troops in country. France, Germany, Russia, India, China and others have offered to help if it is under UN control.

Personally, I still think Bush is being dishonest with us.
