JDN & others: The melting pot is still hot. There were always little Italy's in major cities, just as there is a little Havana in Miami today. Very few 2nd and 3rd generation Hispanics do not speak english. Newer immigrants follow the trends of the english, irish and italians before them - despite liberal attempts to destroy the melting pot. We are Borg.
