I thought that was where they put it to begin with. They sure didn't put it into Russia. As I understand it, Putin got Yeltsin to resign by cutting a deal with him that he wouldn't go to jail ~ it would make sense that Putin would try to get the money back into Russia, or at least under his own control. <edit> You probably saw in yesterday's news that Putin fired Yeltsin's daughter, who had a high-ranking job in the Russian government, and was one of the key players in the theft and money-laundering of IMF money. That's just the beginning.
