You mean new highs with MACD NOT reaching new highs? I think, Bob, that small caps are likely to fare better than the large caps - like the DOW... at least for a while. This doesn't mean that they must rally - even if both decline, a paired trade of long IWM / short DIA is likely to be profitable. Can be done using the futures. I'm not playing this - maybe some day after I retire, I'll get into this game. Too busy for the time being. That said, the upper line on that chart may very well stop the advance. If I were long R2000, I'd think about cutting down or stepping aside until things clear up. But I'm often too early.
