micheal...you just quoted my notes on the cpq 10q.
but, it looks like they are seeing success. that's what
the last results in 3rd qtr showed with the doubling of their inventory turns.
this really positively shocked the analyst community.

anyway..now that you are quoting me<g>
go check my notes on the 10q on steve thread.
oh..i forget..can you think of another fortune 100 mfg'er that has never had a Mainframe.. even dec and Hp who made mini's use to be loaded with mainframes.
We(cpq) had to show hp how to do away ith mf's.
