I'm assuming that it's a problem not with MSFT but with Alta Vista, as I don't get the script error with Costco or Netzero ISPs. I did download some script from one of those URLs you sent. I deleted Alta Vista (forgot how to go about uninstalling) but when I re-downloaded and installed the problem persisted. Gotta figure out how to uninstall again. I figure my copy of Alta Vista must have gotten corrupted (like that computer word [g]) when I crashed a couple days ago. Sound plausible? Anyway, thanks for all the help and I'll let you know if I get Alta Vista working without the error message.
