Kenneth, the historical Westell PR effort was a total failure.

>>[PR - WSTL} If anyone doubts the power of PR, they only have to look at what's happening to WSTL. Unfortunately, our Amati management is apparently ignorant of this, and we shareholders are reaping the benefits. WSTL's CAP product may be inferior, but if you were a WSTL shareholder this past week, would you really care? Here's hoping Amati wakes up soon, and gets in bed with companies which will allow a certain amount of advertising by their subcontractors. Otherwise, the company will remain a secret. <<

Westell was one of the most hyped ADSL stocks after they went public about a year ago and look at them now. Remember the pronouncements about Westell owning 80% of the ADSL market when they didn't even have a DMT product. Hype may get you short term gains but watch out when the balloon gets pricked.

Amati has and never will hype its stock. We have all come to realize this during the past year. At some point Amati will build trust with their investors and the street analysts. They have done so with me. I view the current price as proof that this strategy is working since I got in at the $5.00 level and view the current price levels as very strong support. I know that this is not much consolation to those that have been averaging down during the past 6 months, but I feel much more comfortable with the quiet hard work that is going on behind the scenes. Frequent meaningless pronouncements never work long term.
