Peter- I think you are correct. Ascend has pissed off the analyst community something severe. There mishandling of the earning issue going back to the speech that mislead analysts the week before the 8K will haunt them for a long time. Unfortunately few do the real research and rely on analysts to tell them how to think. Witness attention Salomon got today regarding US West news that was a week old.
