Re-directing Java could mean that they are going to a server model.
Since they already have a server-based WP, this would not be too much
of a stretch. I think it would fit in with their NC strategy.

This would be an abrupt change in direction but would be in line with
the head honcho's boast that the company can turn on a moments notice.

As for shorts, don't forget that in Saturday's Globe in Mail there
was an increase in shorts from 154,600 to 628,400. I still think a squeeze partially explains the sudden surge.
