Barclays on U.S. Semiconductors: New iPad Final Breakdown and Look at iPhone 5

Analysts, Blayne Curtis and C.J. Muse, see Avago Technologies (Nasdaq: AVGO) and Skyworks Solutions (Nasdaq: SWKS) as big winners from the launch of Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) new iPad. The analysts also feel TriQuint Semi (Nasdaq: TQNT) benefitting from the Quadband (GSM) supplies to carriers like AT&T (NYSE: T) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ).

As far as the new iPhone 5, Barclays sees SWKS, TQNT, AVGO, T and VZ as winners for this device. They also chose Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM)(Connectivity), Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM)(Power mgmt) and Teradyne (NYSE: TER)(Function Test)

Barclays adjusts estimates as follows: "For SWKS our CY13 revenue/EPS move to $1,860M/$2.41 ($1,713M/$2.12 prior, Street $1,754M/$2.08). For AVGO, our CY13 revenue/EPS move to $2,796M/$3.01 ($2,722M/$2.92 prior, Street $2,745M/$2.99). For TQNT, our CY13 revenue/EPS move to $1,007M/$0.54 ($920M/$0.54 prior, Street $999M/$0.47)."
