Your sentiments are echoed for the large part, by Yvan Auger! May the "force" be with us! Some of the "old timer" penny mines have already taken off, like Band Ore Resources (T-BAN), and Flag Resources (T-FGR.A), and even former mid-cap miner Colony Pacific, which traded at C$9 at one time (T-CYX). So, although T-UKH has zoomed up to .25 from a humble .06 in recent weeks, it still has a way to go to catch up to the above current high-flyers! However, it may dally a bit in the mid-teens, perhaps waiting until March 16th, for the courts to extend UKH's deadline to get financing!
Money is being spent like water up here in Northern Ontario, looking for ore! INCO has announced the confirmation of a new orebody just west of here - 10.4 MM tonnes, grading 1.77% Ni, 1.34% Cu, and 3.6 grams per tonne of Platinum Group metals! They also have several other orebodies being brought out of mothballing to put into production, especially now since our buddy Brian Tobin refused to be reasonable with Inco re: the Voisey Bay deposit in Labrador! (Thanks again, Brian! :^) Inco also announced it has a new technology enabling them to look up to 300 metres into the rock, inside former drill-holes, to analyze the mineral content of the adjacent ground. They had missed this new find years ago by only about 100 metres!
Also, with the DOW and TSE in the toilet, the $$$ are looking for elsewhere to go! :^)
