Given Ampex's very conservative way of discussing earnings expectations, I would not be the least bit surprised if your conclusions are correct. Also, given the many cautions Ampex has given investor's in their various filings, I believe that any poor news is already reflected in the price, and that any earnings surprise would have a very positive impact.
