Norton SystemWorks [MY UPDATES WITH NETSCAPE - 10/27/2000]

"If you are using any flavor of the Netscape browser 4.x or later, you
will have to install a plug-in in order to use Norton Web Services new
My Updates service, which replaces LiveUpdate Pro for downloading the
latest hardware drivers and software versions for your PC. First,
though, you should make sure that Netscape is properly configured to
accept My Updates information.

Launch Netscape and click on the Edit menu. Select Preferences and
click on Advanced. Select Accept All Cookies (you may choose to enable
the Warn Me Before Accepting A Cookie feature, but be sure to accept
cookies on Updates.com). Select Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.

Expand the Advanced menu and click Cache. Select Every Time, and click
OK.

Now point Netscape to the Norton Web Services home page:

nortonweb.zdnet.com

At the top of the page, click the My Updates link, then the Scan My PC
button."
