I've been hoping Apple would build a truly great universal remote. In fact, I was thinking about that earlier today, as I updated some settings on my Logitech Harmony One, which is the best programmable remote I have used. And I have gone through several.

Still, as good as the Harmony One is, there's room for improvement, and Apple is just the company to do the improving.
