Jeric,

If you are going to quote someone, you should do so correctly.

"Of the 25-30 parents I spoke with, over half had not purchased their helmets until just before their trip and those were the Headstrong helmets. In their opinion, if they are going to make their kids wear helmets, they want the best there is to offer."

I never said the "best money could buy", I said the best there is to offer. I have read my copy of Consumer Reports with the information about the helmets in it. For kids, it is the best that there is to offer.

The 15 or so people that told me that they had purchased headstrong helmets said that they got them from Wal-Mart and Target.

What I failed to mention was that these people were all from the Houston/Dallas/Ft. Worth area (it didn't appear relevant to mention) We all had something in common and struck up a conversation. The topic of helmets came up in conversation because we were all told by resort employees that the state was discussing making it a law for 12 and under to wear helmets.

I thought that this might be useful information and passed it along. I was not hyping the stock. I also take exception to you calling me a liar. This was a social conversation that we all had, something that you obviously know nothing about.

Pat
