how do you justify timer digest and hulbert giving BB such a high ranking?

It is my understanding that ranking systems like these use only the STATED portfolio returns. In the MT, for some unknown reason, much of the advice like the QQQs are not integrated in the portfolio although they use the portfoliio allocation %'s. Why is that done? Why isn't Bob Brinker as straightforward as The Fools?

The Fools put everything into their portfolios AND they publish the results from inception to date. They get lots of flak but they generally take it well unlike Bob the thin skinned who nails critical subscribers.

Has anyone tried cancelling a subscription? Did you get notice that said if you cancel you can NEVER subscribe again? (OK this point doesn't go with this argument but it irks me as someone recently pointed this out again)

Why doesn't Bob put ALL of his recommendations (good and bad) into his portfolios? Wouldn't that be a TRUE evaluation of his skills and abilities? Wouldn't that be a USEFUL way to evaluate the worth of the MT subscription?

Along with the fair disclosure required by companies maybe, sometime in the foggy future, there will be government regulations for fair disclosure for those who give financial advice. That would be a good day for investors (and for really good advisors) everywhere!
