I'm a reader and investor but not a poster but, I finally feel that I i've seen a post that needs to be reconized. > This descend of Asnd should be viewed as healthy correction of the bull market<. Other than the fact that we probably own Asnd stock, what makes us so unique, other than the very large volume of shares traded? In the last 10-14 days take a look at all of the high flying tech stocks, to name a few, Intc, Msft, Csco, Amat, Nvls, Ca, Ibm, etc, etc, etc are taking the hit. So No1, it's just not an Asnd problem. Inmhop, the only point that makes Asnd standout, is that while the others are starting to come off their highs, Asnd has come from 52 to 32 in the same amount of time. If you believe that Amat was very highly priced at 110 and the same for Nvls at 122, then the same could be said for Asnd at 80. What I'm concerned about now is, (btw, I've made big $ with Asnd, but just got back in @41 and 37) what don't we know, what the institutions know? I'm starting to feel that the Cscc merger is NOT going well, just like the Bay mergers, almost killed them. Asnd can, over a period of time handle the technical problems but a bad merger can really ---- up a good business. Anything from poor or decitefull due diligence to cultural differences could make this a disaster. Is there anyone out there, that might have a closer handle on this? Morey is going to be hard pressed to come out and say " this merger was a mistake", because if he did, us risk takers that are buying at $32, will be given a much better opportunity in the teen's. |
